Nice, now you also have a name, Velyan!

Now (after updating the plugin), you should be able to set an option "show-daily-jot-toc" on the plugin. If you set it to "true", the ToC of your current daily-jot will be shown if you are in any jot view. Please refer to the instructions of this plugin or the Amplenote docs if you need help updating the plugin or enabling the setting. Of course, you can reach out to me as well. Please also note that clicking on an item will navigate to the notes view again.

I am a bit low on time currently and this is the best I can do for now. I hid it behind a feature flag that has to be enabled first, because I am not yet super happy with the user experience and the code quality.

Please let me know if it works or if there is anything else.

Hey Mava,

Thanks for the quick reply!

I see, makes sense that it is not known which is the currently selected note.

I like the suggestion and for me, at least, "seeing the ToC for today's Jot" is enough and will definitely reduce the mental effort it sometimes takes to parse through my daily jot when it becomes large.

Thanks for the consideration!

Hi User #238422 (I hope you see this somehow),
thanks!

About your wish to show the ToC in Jots view as well: I assume, you want to see either the ToC for the currently "selected" note.
I'm afraid this is currently hardly possible to achieve using a plugin because of technical limitations (I don't see a way for Amplenote to expose the information about "which note is currently selected in jots view" to plugins).
Best you could probably do is "If in Jots view, always show ToC for today's Jot". Would that help already?

Hey, amazing plugin. Very nice way to have ToC always at ease.

I wanted to ask if you have considered making the plugin also work in Jots view since it would be useful to also have the ToC in the sidebar for the daily-jots.

Thanks!
