Currently task hierarchy is not preserved in the Tasks view, that is tasks are not visually indented under their parent task.
Preserving the hierarchy in tasks view mode is important because without it the subtasks lose important context. Task view is far less useful without hierarchy context.

I'm casting a couple votes for this, since it would also allow cool optionality like linking to a project note from Daily Jots to get the full set of tasks that were children of the task that had an "inline tag" / "note link"
This also needs to be done for backlinks, so that you can see what parent task a complete task belonged too. 🙏
For some reason, I thought a feature request already existed for this ("child tasks"), but maybe it was on featureupvote and not here...
