Some find it useful to preface people names with @ so that its fast to browse through all your rolodex of people by entering that character in the "Quick Open" navigation. Regardless of whether you adopt that convention, we strongly recommend liberal use of backlinking to remind yourself of the contexts in which a particular person has crossed paths with you previously.
