This goal is associated with the accountability topic: "Language Learning"
I want to learn Turkish so that I can speak with my husbands side of the family.
In order to do this there is a Turkish government website that is completely for free.
I want to log on to this website daily and learn new words and phrases.
I want to finish the website in about 6 to 7 months Insha'Allah.
Here is a link to the website: https://learnturkish.com/doys/Login/Index#!Home/Profil
I will post my progress here in the discussion so that way the progress is trackable.
So far I am on Turkish level A1 and I have learned basic colors, numbers, and greetings. The next level I am working on is where objects are in relation to other objects or places. For example the cat is in the tree is Kedi ağaçta.
I had an in person lesson yesterday about minsin, musun, (there are two more variants but I dont know how to spell them). If you put these at the end of the sentence it turns it into a question. Iyiym minsin is for example are you good? I ran out of time to study more on the turkish website. Looking to dive in more on friday.
I restarted the whole turkish program over because I learned that there is a better way to learn using the dictionary to collect the words that you learn along the way. For each lesson they always teach you a bunch of words but if you don't write them down or memorize them then later when they test you there is no way to look back at the words you learned. Because of that I was stuck in the program and couldn't move forward. But today I have started over from the very beginning in section A1 Alfabe
I plan to complete this section today.
I completed A1 Merhaba today :)) I also have started notes to collect the words I learn.
Today I completed A1 Bu Ne Lesson
