Amplenote's Discord
Amplenote is genuinely the best app I've tried as someone who struggles with focus and organization, made even more challenging by my ADHD. I honestly use it as a second brain since it helps me stay on top of note-taking, to-do lists, task prioritization, and scheduling without feeling overwhelmed, as I experienced with other apps in the past. As a productivity nerd, I initially spent a bit of time configuring it to my liking (with help from their blog) to break my tasks into my main life domains. Since then, it's been a seamless "set it and forget it" system that works whether I'm in the middle of a hectic day or battling brain fog from revenge bedtime procrastination.
The browser extension's quick capture feature is a lifesaver. I use it constantly to track my thought process or save key takeaways while researching or browsing online. I already loved Amplenote, but it didn't feel like the complete puzzle piece for managing my life until they recently added the "events" task type and conditional tasks. Now, I can easily manage the chaos of my human brain within my Amplenote-shaped second brain, feeling in control of both my short-term, day-to-day execution and my long-term goals, requiring big-picture planning and accountability.
If you're neurodivergent or just want to be more organized, I can't recommend Amplenote enough. It's the first app I've found that truly works with my brain, not against it!
