We differentiate from other note-taking apps by prioritizing security as a first-order consideration. We are the only app we know of (aside from possibly Standard Notes) to have launched with end-to-end encryption available. Ensuring that we have created sufficient transparency to be considered "the more secure note taking app" is a long-term goals of ours.
More specifically, we are one of the only note taking apps that will explicitly discuss the technical details of our security design. We do this for the same reason that many of the world's most trusted security utilities are open source: transparency allows anybody to evaluate our design and suggest improvements.
